Job Summary: We are seeking a proactive AutoCAD Technical Drafter to develop fabrication, construction, and modeling drawings for steel structure projects. Key Highlights: 1. Development of 2D drawings and 3D models for steel structures. 2. Opportunity to work with AutoCAD, SolidWorks, and Revit (BIM). 3. Key role in the preparation and updating of technical documentation. We are currently looking for an **AutoCAD Technical Drafter** to support the development of fabrication, construction, and modeling drawings for steel structure projects. We seek a proactive, detail-oriented individual capable of interpreting technical specifications, engineering drawings, and fabrication requirements. Requirements * Technician, Technologist, or Professional in Technical Drawing, Mechanical Engineering, Civil Engineering, Architecture, or related fields. * Minimum **5 years of general experience** in technical drafting and drawing development. * Minimum **2 years of specific experience** in preparing **fabrication drawings for steel structures**. * Advanced proficiency in **AutoCAD**. * Experience in **3D modeling using SolidWorks**. * Knowledge and experience with **BIM methodologies** and **Revit**. * Ability to develop shop drawings, construction details, part breakdowns, material lists, and assembly drawings. * Familiarity with international standards applicable to the design and fabrication of steel structures (e.g., AISC, AWS, ISO, or others). * Knowledge of welding details and specifications. * Ability to interpret architectural, structural, and engineering drawings. * Desirable experience in interdisciplinary coordination and drawing review. Main Responsibilities * Prepare and update fabrication and construction drawings. * Develop 3D models and associated technical documentation. * Generate fabrication, welding, and assembly details. * Prepare material lists and shop drawings. * Incorporate engineering comments and client reviews. * Ensure compliance with quality standards and project requirements.
