That's Sharing Expertise. **Mission** Plan, direct, execute, evaluate, verify and adjust activities within the area related to the human, technological and administrative resources under its leadership, in accordance with internal, external and legal regulatory frameworks, using business strategies, methodologies and mindset, within a context of continuous change and sustainable development. This aims to ensure proper management of all supply chain processes, inventory control (external, imported and contract-manufactured suppliers), backorder handling, and KPI monitoring — thereby maintaining a permanent balance between import and contract manufacturing volumes, based on information provided during monthly Rolling FC and IBP meetings. Collaborate closely with cross-functional departments to ensure timely handling of imports and guarantee procurement of domestic supplies in compliance with established regulations and procedures, enabling smooth operational functioning. Direct, organize, coordinate and supervise the company’s import and export operations, applying current customs and foreign trade regulations, in line with the general policies and guidelines established for the Foreign Trade Department of B. Braun Medical S.A. **Responsibilities** 1\. Plan, propose, develop and implement procedures to optimize and improve departmental tasks and operations. 2\. Create and update reports generating the necessary Rolling Forecasts to collaborate with business units on required forecasts for maintaining appropriate inventory levels. 3\. Ensure proper use of office tools provided by the Group and continuously pursue learning to stay at the global forefront. 4\. Manage and conduct monthly IBP meetings, consistently aiming for positive outcomes and decisions ensuring successful operational performance across all business units. 5\. Maintain a permanent balance between import volumes and information provided in BOs (backorders) and forecasts supplied by Business Development & Channel Director. 6\. Consistently manage information required by BBMCO’s GSCMs. 7\. Conduct self-assessments of the unit to identify critical areas and implement an improvement plan enabling short-term resolution of these weaknesses. 8\. Prepare all reports associated with departmental KPIs and perform corresponding analyses for each. 10\. Ensure coordination with the Foreign Trade department to guarantee merchandise arrival within expected timeframes, and promptly report any deviations to all relevant departments. 11\. Collaborate with Logistics on all aspects of local contract manufacturing, always ensuring timely availability of all materials undergoing this process. Where applicable, maintain safety stock levels to minimize urgent product requests. 12\. Ensure continuous and effective communication with all internal and external stakeholders involved in the supply chain, guaranteeing smooth operation of all processes and thus the overall success of operations. 13\. Responsible for supervising import and export procedures and legalization conducted by the company, in accordance with the general principles of the Quality Policy and applying all official and currently effective regulations issued by the Ministry of Commerce, Industry and Tourism, DIAN, Ministry of Social Protection, INVIMA, and other applicable authorities. 14\. Negotiate rates and service agreements with logistics chain agents **Professional Competencies** Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Industrial Engineering or related administrative disciplines; postgraduate specialization preferred. Minimum 5 years’ experience leading supply chain processes. English proficiency level C1. SAP knowledge preferred, especially APO-SNP modules.
