VIBRATORY COMPACTOR OPERATOR • EDUCATION: High school diploma. • TRAINING: Not applicable. • EXPERIENCE: One (01) year in similar positions. • EQUIVALENCE: Not applicable. • SKILLS: Communication, Human Quality, Customer Orientation, Problem Solving, Quality Orientation, Continuous Improvement, Responsibility. • CERTIFICATIONS: C2, C3 driver's license. • ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS: As specified by the client. Preference for candidates with experience in engineering companies. FUNCTIONS Operating the Machine - Operate the vibratory compactor to compact soil, granular bases, or asphalt. - Control machine speed, vibration, and direction. Ground Compaction - Perform uniform passes to achieve required soil density. - Compact layers of fill, subbases, and bases in road construction or building projects. Equipment Inspection - Verify before operation: - Oil level - Fuel - Hydraulic system - Condition of roller or drum - Vibration system Operational Safety - Maintain safe distance from workers and nearby machinery. - Operate on slopes with caution. - Wear PPE (helmet, boots, vest, gloves, hearing protection).
