Job Summary: We are seeking a Systems Apprentice with a service-oriented attitude and interest in technology to support the Technology Department in managing and maintaining resources. Key Responsibilities: 1. Support preventive and corrective maintenance of equipment. 2. Install and configure software and provide basic technical support. 3. Collaborate in the management of technological infrastructure. Position Purpose Provide support to the Technology Department in managing, maintaining, and controlling the organization’s technological resources, contributing to the proper functioning of equipment, applications, and IT assets, as well as ensuring timely response to internal users’ requests. Job Requirements Academic Qualification: Student pursuing a technical or technological program in Systems, Infrastructure Support, Computer Equipment Maintenance, Networks, or related fields, eligible for an apprenticeship contract (SENA or accredited institution). Experience: No formal work experience required. Academic projects are valued. Technical Knowledge: - Preventive and corrective maintenance of computers and printers. - Installation and configuration of software and applications. - Proficiency with Windows operating systems. - Basic networking and connectivity concepts. - Control and inventory of technological assets. Soft Skills: Service orientation, teamwork, assertive communication, organization and attention to detail, proactivity and willingness to learn. Availability: Administrative hours (Monday to Saturday). Availability for an apprenticeship contract per current Colombian regulations. Role Responsibilities - Support preventive and corrective maintenance activities for the organization’s computers and printers. - Perform installation, configuration, and updates of company-authorized software. - Provide basic technical support to internal users, addressing incidents and technological requests. - Support the management and updating of the IT asset inventory, ensuring accurate registration and control of assigned equipment. - Verify the physical and functional status of technological devices. - Collaborate in activities related to networks, connectivity, and technological infrastructure management. - Document procedures, incidents, and activities carried out within the Technology Department. - Comply with the organization’s information security policies and established best practices.
