Responsibility, punctuality, and teamwork A well-known food-sector company in the city of Apartadó is seeking a Distribution Assistant to support the company’s logistics operations by receiving, storing, preparing, controlling, and distributing merchandise, ensuring appropriate inventory management and on-time delivery performance. Main Responsibilities: Receive, inspect, and store merchandise according to established procedures. Load and unload products. Assist with physical inventory control and system recordkeeping. Prepare orders for shipment (picking and packing). Support merchandise distribution and delivery along assigned routes. Maintain warehouse order, cleanliness, and proper organization. Ensure proper handling and care of products. Comply with occupational health and safety regulations. Perform other logistics tasks assigned by the immediate supervisor. Requirements: Completed high school education (preferred). Minimum 6 months to 1 year of experience in similar roles (logistics, warehouse, or distribution). Basic knowledge of inventory management and merchandise handling. Good physical condition for operational tasks. Responsibility, punctuality, and teamwork.
