




Job Summary: A major state entity is seeking a micro-casting operator to prepare molds, prepare materials, operate furnaces, melt metals, pour, supervise, control, demold, clean, and inspect parts; support finishing processes; and maintain the work area while complying with safety regulations. Ensures quality and cleanliness of produced parts A major state entity is currently seeking a micro-casting operator to perform the following duties: Prepare molds (sand, metal, or other materials) according to specifications. Prepare metallic materials for the casting process. Operate casting furnaces and monitor temperatures. Melt metals such as iron, steel, or aluminum. Pour (cast) molten metal into molds. Supervise the mold-filling process. Control cooling and solidification times. Demold cast parts. Clean parts (remove flash, sand, or residues). Inspect the quality of produced parts. Identify defects such as porosity or cracks. Support finishing or part-adjustment processes. Maintain order and cleanliness in the work area. Comply with industrial safety regulations. Properly use personal protective equipment (PPE). Report equipment or process failures. · *High School Graduate* Must reside in Sogamoso, Duitama, Nobsa, or nearby areas. *Contract Type*: Project-Based Employment – 100% on-site *Schedule*: Rotating monthly shifts, Monday to Saturday, from 6:30 AM to 3:30 PM, or 3:30 PM to 12:30 AM, with one weekly day off.
