




Job Summary: Occupational Safety and Health Assistant to support workplace safety and health management, coordinate action plans, and promote risk prevention training. Key Responsibilities: 1. Participate in audits and review of occupational medical examinations A reputable company engaged in the manufacturing and distribution of rubber and metal parts and components for the automotive sector and general industry seeks an Occupational Safety and Health Assistant to join its team in Mosquera, Cundinamarca. Main Responsibilities: · Support the application of self-assessment and the development of the annual work plan and training plan for the Occupational Safety and Health Management System (OSHMS) · Promote training for all company personnel on implementing the Occupational Safety and Health Management System (OSHMS) · Coordinate with department heads to develop and update the hazard identification matrix, risk assessment and evaluation, and prioritize interventions accordingly · Validate or jointly develop action plans with department heads and monitor their implementation · Promote understanding of the occupational safety and health policy across all organizational levels · Monitor commitments established under the Occupational Safety and Health Management System aimed at continuous improvement (e.g., action plans, risk analyses, management indicators) · Coordinate training needs related to risk prevention based on priority risks and organizational levels · Participate in internal audits of the Occupational Safety and Health Management System · Review occupational medical examinations (pre-employment, periodic, termination, post-disability) and conduct appropriate follow-up as required · Participate in establishing and ensuring the proper functioning of the Joint Occupational Safety and Health Committee (COPASST), the Coexistence Committee, and the Emergency Brigade · Provide communication channels enabling staff interaction with the system · Lead emergency events and related drills · Carry out assigned tasks under the company’s procedure for accidents, incidents, and occupational illnesses · Monitor the development and implementation of the training program · Respond to requests from the Workers’ Compensation Insurance Provider (ARL), Health Promotion Entity (EPS), and Pension Fund Administrator (AFP) · Evaluate employee commitment to the system · Perform the duties of the OSHMS Manager in their absence or upon request · Archive, control, and preserve accessible accounting records (magnetic and physical), in accordance with the Records Control Procedure · Perform other related and specific duties assigned by the immediate supervisor Requirements: Technologist in Occupational Safety and Health with valid license Certification as Coordinator for Work at Heights Valid 50-hour or 20-hour course Minimum one (1) year of experience in the position Workplace: On-site employment
