Wood is seeking a process professional to join its Projects business unit, focusing on the Oil, Gas and New Energies (OGNE) area. This opportunity is onsite.
**The Role**
Wood Colombia is seeking a process professional or related discipline with 8 years of specific experience in engineering projects within the Oil \& Gas sector to serve as a Process Engineer – Hydraulic Calculations, bilingual or advanced English, with experience in refining processes and knowledge of software (Jlin and Pro II).

* Conduct field visits for data gathering and collection of required information for project development.
* Develop typical engineering project documents across various phases (conceptual, basic, detailed), such as: Industrial Consumption Summary, Process Description, Material and Energy Balances, Equipment Lists, Line and Interconnection Lists.
* Prepare process drawings in accordance with project specifications, typically including: Block Flow Diagrams, Process Flow Diagrams, Piping and Instrumentation Diagrams (P\&IDs), Utility Diagrams and Decommissioning Diagrams.
* Develop designs in compliance with international codes and standards such as API, ANSI, ASME, NFPA, client specifications and applicable environmental regulations.
* Model systems and processes (simulate) to generate necessary data for mass and energy balance development; this activity will be performed using optimal utilization of commercially available software within the company, e.g., HYSYS, STONER, PRO II, etc.
* Participate in interdisciplinary document reviews to ensure proper information handling and engineering integrity.
* Size process equipment such as pumps, vessels, heat exchangers, skid-mounted units, etc.
* Prepare hydraulic models, PRID datasheets, PED datasheets, etc.
* Conduct field visits for data gathering and collection of required information for project development.
* Develop typical engineering project documents across various phases (conceptual, basic, detailed), such as: Industrial Consumption Summary, Process Description, Material and Energy Balances, Equipment Lists, Line and Interconnection Lists.
* Prepare process drawings in accordance with project specifications, typically including: Block Flow Diagrams, Process Flow Diagrams, Piping and Instrumentation Diagrams (P\&IDs), Utility Diagrams and Decommissioning Diagrams.
* Participate in interdisciplinary document reviews to ensure proper information handling and engineering integrity.
* Attend scheduled workshops during project development, such as risk analysis, constructability, design review, peer review, etc.
* Execute any other responsibilities assigned by your immediate supervisor and in accordance with company needs.

Required:
* Experience in the Oil \& Gas sector.
* Basic knowledge of process simulation tools such as HYSYS, PRO II, STONER and other process simulators (oil \& gas) or pipeline and gathering/distribution piping systems.
* Basic knowledge of engineering documentation.
