Mentor and coach senior engineers, uplifting overall engineering quality We are seeking a **Lead Python Developer** to join our team working on enterprise platform engineering initiatives. This role focuses on brownfield modernization, security remediation, and AWS serverless infrastructure supporting internal tooling and integrations across the vehicle lifecycle domain. As a technical leader, you will set direction for engineering practices, mentor senior engineers, and drive strategic modernization initiatives across the platform. *We accept* *CVs in English only.* **Responsibilities** * Define the technical vision and architecture for AWS Lambda services and API Gateway endpoints using Python and Boto3 * Own and drive the end\-to\-end CI/CD migration strategy from legacy pipelines to GitHub Actions workflows * Establish standards and governance for infrastructure as code using Terraform (primary) and Serverless frameworks * Lead complex brownfield refactors, service decommissions, and migrations — e.g., OAuth migrations, WAF block\-mode enablement, SAST/SCA remediations — across multiple teams and workstreams * Define WAF rule configuration strategy and security remediation roadmaps; oversee resolution of findings surfaced by SAST and SCA tooling * Architect integration patterns for internal and third\-party systems via REST APIs (e.g., OAuth client credentials flows) * Drive automation of operational workflows and shape the direction of agentic platform initiatives (n8n, LangChain, or equivalent orchestration tools are a plus) * Partner with the SRE Consultant to define observability strategy, address telemetry gaps, and lead Lambda\-based data collection automation * Champion and evolve the spec\-driven SDLC across the team * Set the strategy for AI\-driven improvements to design, delivery, and triage practices * Evaluate, pilot, and recommend new tooling and solutions for enterprise\-level AI enablement offerings * Mentor and coach senior and mid\-level engineers; conduct technical reviews and uplift overall engineering quality **Requirements** * 5\+ years of Python development with a focus on AWS Lambda and API Gateway in production environments, including experience leading technical initiatives * 1\+ years of proven experience leading distributed teams or workstreams, setting technical direction, and mentoring senior engineers * Deep proficiency in Boto3 across IAM, Secrets Manager, and SSM, as well as Lambda, API Gateway, CloudWatch, and WAF * Expert\-level Terraform skills for IaC in production, with the ability to define module standards, lead reviews, and shape platform\-wide IaC strategy * Strong background in Serverless Framework, including planning and executing migrations of legacy stacks at scale Hands\-on experience leading GitHub Actions CI/CD pipeline initiatives; comfortable owning a CI/CD functions* GHA migration end\-to\-end * Deep knowledge of AWS WAF rule configuration, block\-mode enablement, and incident response leadership * Solid experience with security tooling such as SAST and SCA, and a track record of operating within (or shaping) a structured compliance programme * Brownfield mindset — demonstrable leadership of large\-scale migrations, decommissions, and refactors rather than greenfield builds * Strong stakeholder management and the ability to influence technical decisions across teams * Excellent command of written and spoken English (B2\+ level) **Nice to have** * Familiarity with ServiceNow * Understanding of Snowflake **We offer** * Learning Culture \- We want you to be the best version of yourself, that is why we offer unlimited access to learning platforms, a wide range of internal courses, and all the knowledge you need to grow professionally * Health Coverage \- Health and wellness are important, that is why we have you and up to four family members in a premiere health plan.
