Opportunity to shape the future of specialty ingredients solutions PURCHASING SPECIALIST **Position Details** Position Title: Indirect Procurement Specialist Location: Bogotá, Colombia Work Mode: Hybrid**About the Position** Responsible for conducting negotiations, ensuring service delivery and deliverables, securing timely supply, optimizing procurement costs, and managing suppliers (toll manufacturing, OPL, security services, administrative offices, travel). Also responsible for maintaining reliable supplier relationships and a dependable, diversified supplier portfolio, ensuring supplier KPI compliance to guarantee correct and timely supply chain service for CALDIC LATAM — within agreed timelines, regional operational requirements, applicable legislation, quality standards, and at the lowest possible cost — through appropriate allocation of human, technical, and material resources.**Key Responsibilities** 1\. Ensure Timely Supply: Must guarantee strengthening and proper operation of the supply chain through correct supplier selection (ethical \& sustainable suppliers), diversifying supply sources where alternatives are ensured to mitigate service disruptions 2\. Coordinate with logistics and warehouse to ensure availability. 3\. Negotiate Best Terms 4\. Obtain competitive pricing. 5\. Improve payment terms and delivery conditions. 6\. Guarantee quality and compliance. 7\. Optimize Procurement Costs 8\. Explore alternative suppliers. 9\. Evaluate volume purchases or long-term contracts. 10\. Minimize hidden costs (transportation, delays, returns). 11\. Manage Supplier Relationships 12\. Maintain a reliable and diversified supplier portfolio. 13\. Evaluate performance (supplier KPIs: on-time delivery, quality, lead times). 14\. Improve administrative processes, digitize procurement processes, and automate tasks. 15\. Execute the full procurement cycle: requisition, quotation, purchase order, receipt. 16\. Keep records and documentation up to date. 17\. Use digital procurement tools (ERP, Excel, databases). 18\. Achieve Corporate Objectives (aligned with company strategy) 19\. Contribute to Company Profitability 20\. Reduce Total Cost of Ownership (TCO). 21\. Support achievement of financial targets. 22\. Ensure uninterrupted operational continuity. 23\. Completed university degree in Business Administration, Finance, or Engineering. A postgraduate degree in related fields is desirable.
