Job Objective To expertly administer, secure, and optimize the full lifecycle of Linux servers (primarily standardized on Oracle Linux / RHEL), ensuring middleware stability and service operational continuity—regardless of the underlying cloud infrastructure (Multi-Cloud). To act as a Level 3 technical reference for resolving complex incidents and automating operational processes. Main Responsibilities Advanced OS Administration: In-depth management, installation, configuration, tuning, and hardening of Linux servers, prioritizing Oracle Linux and Red Hat Enterprise Linux, as well as support for legacy distributions (CentOS, Ubuntu). OS Resource Management: Internal configuration of storage and network resources provided by cloud providers (AWS, Azure, OCI, etc.), including partitioning, LVM volume management, XFS/EXT4 filesystems, and disk mounting. Middleware Support: Operational assurance, configuration, and tuning of web and application services (Apache, Nginx, Tomcat, Java). Observability Agent Management: Installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of monitoring and security agents (Zabbix Agent, Wazuh Agent), ensuring proper communication with central servers. Operational Automation: Design and maintenance of advanced scripts (Bash, Python) for task automation, cronjobs, log rotation, and automatic remediation. Level 3 Incident Response: Diagnosis and resolution of alerts escalated by the SNOC, performing root cause analysis (RCA) for performance, network, or operating system failures. Maintenance and Updates: Execution of patching plans, repository management (yum/dnf/apt), and critical package updates. Customer Interaction: Participation in technical meetings to substantiate diagnoses and explain platform behavior to internal or external customers. Local Backup Management: Configuration and verification of data synchronization and OS-level backup tasks (using rsync, tar, etc.). Profile We Are Seeking Academic Background Professional degree in Systems Engineering, Electronics, Telecommunications, or related fields. · Experience: Minimum 5 years of verifiable experience administering high-availability Linux environments in production settings. · Knowledge: Operating Systems: Expert-level proficiency in Oracle Linux (UEK) and Red Hat Enterprise Linux. Ability to manage distributions such as CentOS and Ubuntu. Cloud Environments (OS Level): Experience administering Linux instances on public cloud platforms (OCI, AWS, Azure, or GCP). Candidates must be capable of operating the OS independently of the cloud console. Services and Protocols: SSH (advanced), local DNS, web services (Apache, Nginx, SSL/TLS), Java/Tomcat. System Tools: Expert storage management (LVM), process and memory management (performance troubleshooting). Agents: Operational experience with Zabbix and Wazuh agents.
