Design and execution of tests oriented to banking processes Position Profile We are looking for a Software Test Engineer (QA) with 3 to 4 years of experience and a proven track record in projects within the financial and banking sector. The candidate will be responsible for ensuring the quality of transactional applications, digital channels and/or core systems, guaranteeing stability, compliance, and traceability in deliveries under agile methodologies. Requirements (Mandatory): * 3 to 4 years of experience as QA / Tester / Test Engineer. * Prior experience in the financial sector and banks (banking processes, products, or platforms). * Remote work Desirable: * Experience with Cobis platforms or similar (core or satellite modules, transactional processes, and validations). * Test automation (Selenium / Cypress / Playwright / Appium). * Experience with CI/CD (Jenkins / GitLab CI / Azure DevOps). Knowledge and experience: * Functional, regression, smoke, integration, UAT, and acceptance criteria validation testing. * Management of test cases, test plans, coverage matrices, and traceability (requirement, test, result). * Defect management and tracking: severity, priority, evidence, reprocessing, and closure. * Management tools: Jira / Azure DevOps (or equivalents). * API testing (Postman/Swagger) and integration validation. * SQL queries for data verification (balances, transactions, statements, reconciliations, etc.). * Best practices for documentation and reporting in regulated environments. * Key Responsibilities * Analyze user stories / requirements and define the test strategy. * Design and execute tests oriented to banking processes (customers, accounts, transfers, payments, credits, reconciliations, transactional security). * Log and manage defects, coordinating with development and PO for prioritization and resolution. * Participate in agile ceremonies and ensure quality-related “Definition of Done” criteria. * Propose improvements to the QA process (standardization, automation, cycle optimization).
