Incident management and technical escalations with customers CYBERSECURITY ADVANCED ENGINEER 6 days ago Description **We are currently looking for our next Security Engineer** We seek a cybersecurity professional with strong experience in Web Application Firewall (WAF) administration and operations, who wishes to assume a strategic and high-impact role in protecting critical infrastructure. **Academic requirements:** Professional degree in Electronic Engineering, Telecommunications Engineering, Systems Engineering, or related fields. * **Required experience:*** Minimum five (5\) years of experience in cybersecurity. * Four (4\) years of specific experience in WAF administration, support, and operations (Imperva and/or Cloudflare). * Experience in security event diagnosis and analysis. * Handling incidents, escalations, and technical customer management. Requirements Currently, the Imperva WAF control is managed by the Networking Security Engineer. Within service delivery, we have observed gaps in security event diagnosis, given that this engineer lacks application-level expertise for review and understanding; consequently, we receive escalations from customers. As an improvement action, we require adding a specialist to cover management of this control, and in the future, to assume Cloudflare management—currently handled by the customer.
