UU., restauramos la seguridad, la dignidad y la esperanza a millones de personas desarraigadas que luchan por sobrevivir. **Job Overview:** The Program Assistant is responsible for managing multisectoral projects implemented by the organization and partners in Colombia and Ecuador (remotely). Under the supervision of the Program Coordinator, they will coordinate with the program and support teams (finance, supply chain, security, technical management, MEAL, etc.) to ensure proper implementation and activities aligned with the logical framework, work schedule, and project budget. The officer must possess strong technical knowledge in project management within emergency contexts involving vulnerable populations, as well as skills for coordinating across teams with diverse approaches. **Key Responsibilities**: Project Management (Planning and Implementation) * Support monitoring of project progress in Colombia and Ecuador against indicators and budgets, and adjust work plans and expenditure plans as needed to ensure achievement of targets and budget execution in accordance with IRC’s internal policies and procedures and donor requirements. * Support implementation of activities, including verifying that service delivery or dispensing schedules are realistic given availability of medicines, supplies, staff, logistics, and access conditions. * Support coordination with and assistance to partners to ensure implementation aligns with intervention goals and objectives. * Provide support in planning supplies for managers and field teams (both program and support teams), in close coordination with the Supply Chain Coordinator and Senior Supply Chain Coordinator. * Support the Program Coordinator and Operations team in tracking purchase requests, procurement processes, delivery timelines, receipt, storage, distribution, and resource availability prior to implementation. * Support identification of risks to project implementation and timely coordination of solutions and mitigation measures. * Promote ongoing collaboration with field management teams to ensure joint planning and coordination of program implementation. Support tracking of internal and external referral pathways, stakeholder mapping, available services, access barriers, referred cases, and unmet needs as part of operational implementation* Support preparation of donor reports and internal update reports. * Promote and share ideas for improvements and necessary changes to activities. * Support training of new staff and existing staff on program and MEAL topics. **Monitoring, Evaluation and Learning Responsibilities** * Support monitoring and follow-up activities to improve user experience and assess project outcomes. * Assess, promote, and document ideas for technical improvements and alternative data collection methods. * Analysis of IRC primary data; including eligibility surveys, PDM; exit lines, focus groups, and all data collected by IRC, compared with national data, in coordination with the MEAL team **Job Requirements:** **Education:** * **Technical, technological, or university student** in business administration, international relations, economics, engineering, social sciences, human rights, or related field. **Work Experience:** * Minimum of 1 year of work experience in humanitarian response project management. One year of prior experience with an NGO is preferred. * Strong project management experience is required. * Experience in designing and implementing activities in insecure environments. * Experience working on humanitarian response in Colombia. **Demonstrated Skills and Competencies:** * Solid skills in project management, budget administration, report generation, and monitoring and evaluation. * Strong oral and written communication skills, effective in representation and liaison with external stakeholders. * Ability to multitask, meet deadlines, maintain composure, and prioritize deliverables under pressure. **Work Environment:** * Dynamic work environment. * Geographic presence, movement, and program scope may change as the program grows. * Frequent travel is possible **Professional Conduct Standards:** All IRC workers and the IRC itself must adhere to the values and principles described in the IRC Way \- Standards for Professional Conduct.
