This involves efficient and strategic management of the supply chain and inventories—from supplier selection through to final delivery in the warehouse. **Key Functions and Responsibilities** **Demand Planning:** Analyze sales trends, generate forecasts, and determine optimal product quantities to order from suppliers. **Supplier Management:** Select, evaluate, and negotiate with suppliers to ensure compliance with established quality, pricing, and delivery-time standards. **Order Tracking:** Conduct thorough tracking of orders from issuance through receipt in the warehouse, resolving any issues arising during the process. **Inventory Control:** Maintain appropriate inventory levels, avoiding both stockouts and excesses that could incur additional costs. **Logistics Optimization:** Coordinate transportation and delivery of products from suppliers, consistently pursuing maximum efficiency and minimum costs. **Supplier Relationship Management:** Address supplier inquiries and claims related to procurement, ensuring their satisfaction. **Data Analysis:** Use analytical tools to identify opportunities for improving procurement processes and propose data-driven decisions to supervisors. **Essential Skills** **Analytical Thinking:** Ability to analyze large volumes of data and make evidence-based decisions. **Negotiation Skills:** To secure the best purchasing terms from suppliers. **ACADEMIC QUALIFICATIONS** **Professional Degree in:** Business Administration, Industrial Engineering, Logistics, International Trade, or related fields.
