Infrastructure management and technological evolution of the stack **Technical Development Manager (PHP / Hands-on) – 100% Remote** **About the Position:** We are looking for a Development Manager to lead the technical evolution of a niche B2B platform already present across all five continents. The company, backed by a parent organization with 16 years of profitability, has validated its product and is now entering a phase of massive commercial scalability. Your mission will be to structure the technical operation, lead the architecture, and organize the infrastructure to ensure the platform grows at the same pace as business demand. **Key Responsibilities:** * **Hands-on Development (50%):** Design and program the most complex and critical features. You will not perform minor tasks, but rather establish the foundation of the codebase and architecture (PHP 8 / MySQL). * **Technical Leadership (50%):** Lead and mentor a team of 3 developers. You will conduct code reviews and outline technical solutions for the team to implement agilely. * **Infrastructure Management (DevOps):** Organize and ensure continuity of technical operations on servers (OVH, Hetzner, BlueHost). * **Stack Evolution:** Lead the technological transition away from obsolete components (currently migrating from ExtJS) toward modern standards. **Required Profile:** * **Experience:** +7 years of solid backend development experience with **PHP (7.x/8.x)** and **MySQL/MariaDB**. * **Leadership:** Prior experience leading technical teams or making software architecture decisions, while maintaining an active hands-on coding role. * **DevOps:** Practical knowledge and genuine interest in server and infrastructure management to optimize current operations. * **Business Orientation:** Pragmatic mindset. We seek someone who delivers robust, scalable solutions—avoiding theoretical over-analysis or temporary patches. * **Communication:** Excellent Spanish (Native or C2 level).
