Job Summary: Ecolab is seeking a Sr. Procurement Representative to support business divisions in Production Procurement – direct materials, ensuring operational continuity and continuous improvement. Key Responsibilities: 1. Negotiation and selection of suppliers for direct materials. 2. Internal customer support and tracking of departmental processes. 3. Commitment to the Quality Management System and continuous improvement. **Ecolab** is seeking a **Sr. Procurement Representative**, who will be responsible for supporting various business divisions and functional areas regarding **Production Procurement \- direct materials**, with the objective of ensuring the Company’s operational continuity. This position will be based in **Buenos Aires** (Argentina) or **Bogotá** (Colombia). **Key Responsibilities:** * Responsible for negotiation and supplier selection for Production Procurement – direct materials. * Responsible for generating market reports: savings projects, project tracking, expenses (direct), among others. * Continuous internal customer support (commercial areas, Planning, plant manufacturing, and regional Procurement Category Managers) regarding their market needs and inquiries related to Production Procurement – direct materials. * Tracking of the supplier onboarding process. * Monitoring departmental processes, seeking to implement improvements aligned with customer needs to achieve desired results and departmental objectives. * Commitment to the Quality Management System, ensuring customer satisfaction; with continuous improvement of this System as a permanent objective. * Consistent adherence to Company-established procedures and programs to ensure safe operations, in accordance with the Responsible Care Program. * This role has responsibility for raw material spend categories and must ensure optimal supply sourcing. * May lead supplier bidding processes. **Location:** Buenos Aires or Bogotá **Scope:** LA South, Central America \& The Caribbean **Reports to:** Sr. Procurement Manager LASC **Requirements:** * Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Business Administration, International Trade, or related field. * 5 years of experience in procurement. * Experience in negotiation, bidding, or procurement strategy for chemicals such as caustic soda, hypochlorites, etc. * Advanced English language proficiency. * Proficiency in Excel and knowledge of SAP (desirable). **Our Commitment to an Inclusive and Belonging Culture** Ecolab is committed to fair and equal treatment of all employees and applicants, and to promoting equal employment opportunity principles.
