Identify, prioritize, and remediate application vulnerabilities Job Function: Services The role: **Application Security Engineer** Can you think like an attacker while building secure, scalable applications? We’re looking for a proactive and technically strong Application Security professional to join our Application Services team. In this role, you’ll help embed security throughout the software development lifecycle by partnering closely with developers, architects, DevSecOps, and business stakeholders. You’ll play a key role in identifying risks, improving secure development practices, and helping ensure our applications remain resilient against evolving threats. **Key Responsibilities** * Partner with development and Application Services teams to integrate security best practices into the SDLC. * Perform application security assessments, including code reviews, vulnerability analysis, and threat modeling. * Support and manage security testing activities such as SAST, DAST, dependency scanning, and penetration testing coordination. * Identify, prioritize, and help remediate application vulnerabilities across internal and customer\-facing systems. * Collaborate with DevSecOps and engineering teams to improve secure CI/CD pipelines and automation. * Develop and promote secure coding standards, security awareness, and developer training initiatives. What we need to see from you: * Experience in Application Security, Cybersecurity, or Secure Software Development. * Strong understanding of secure coding principles and common vulnerabilities such as OWASP Top 10\. * Experience with application security tools including SAST, DAST, container, and dependency scanning solutions. * Familiarity with modern development environments, APIs, cloud platforms, and CI/CD pipelines. * Strong communication and collaboration skills with the ability to work effectively across technical teams. * Proficiency in English **Why join our team?** At SoftwareOne, you become part of a global organization that champions growth, innovation, and meaningful impact.
