Leverage advanced tools like CloudTest, BlazeMeter, and Datadog We are looking for an experienced and driven **Lead Performance Test Engineer** to contribute to load testing efforts across our client's key e\-commerce platform. In this position, you will take on a vital role within the Hybris De\-Risk program, helping guarantee that the platform scales smoothly and performs reliably under demanding traffic conditions. Your responsibilities will span the full performance engineering lifecycle, from getting up to speed on existing test suites and creating new load scripts to executing tests across critical web channel flows, examining metrics, and turning complex data into meaningful insights for internal teams and business stakeholders. **Responsibilities** * Build, sustain, and execute thorough load and performance test cycles covering different segments of the e\-commerce platform in support of the Hybris De\-Risk program * Rapidly review and grasp existing performance scripts, restructure them when required, and craft new high\-caliber scripts to broaden testing scope * Develop and carry out full end\-to\-end performance scenarios targeting essential web user flows, checkout processes, and catalog navigation experiences * Track and assess platform behavior during test runs by leveraging Datadog or comparable observability tools to detect performance bottlenecks, memory leaks, and thread contention challenges * Interpret test outcomes, compile performance findings, and share concise, actionable summaries and presentations with internal stakeholders and engineering leadership * Spot weaknesses in the current testing approach and drive efforts around automation, streamlined workflows, and steady performance enhancement **Requirements** * A minimum of 5 years of hands\-on professional background in performance engineering or load testing * At least one year of experience in leading and managing development teams * Proven, hands\-on skill with load testing solutions, particularly CloudTest and BlazeMeter, for building and executing large\-scale test scenarios * Solid grasp of contemporary web application performance concepts such as Core Web Vitals, throughput, concurrency, resource utilization metrics, and hardware/software saturation thresholds * Confident use of Datadog or similar APM solutions for reviewing performance, infrastructure, and application\-level metrics during testing cycles * Sharp analytical mindset, with the capacity to translate raw performance logs and metrics into refined, easy\-to\-follow reports tailored for non\-technical audiences * Demonstrated flexibility and fast learning, with a proven history of quickly getting up to speed on unfamiliar scripting environments and system architectures * Firm dedication to ongoing process refinement and to weaving performance testing into modern software delivery pipelines * Confident English communication at a B2 level or above, in both written and spoken contexts **Nice to have** * Previous involvement in performance tuning specifically for SAP Hybris (SAP Commerce Cloud) environments * Working knowledge of CI/CD integrations for automating performance test execution through tools like Jenkins or GitLab CI * Understanding of cloud environments such as AWS or Azure, along with awareness of microservices\-based architectures **We offer** * International projects with top brands * Work with global teams of highly skilled, diverse peers * Healthcare benefits * Employee financial programs * Paid time off and sick leave * Upskilling, reskilling and certification courses * Unlimited access to the LinkedIn Learning library and 22,000\+ courses * Global career opportunities * Volunteer and community involvement opportunities * EPAM Employee Groups * Award\-winning culture recognized by Glassdoor, Newsweek and LinkedIn *EPAM is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
