Work with global teams on international projects with top brands We are seeking a highly skilled and proactive **Senior Performance Test Engineer** to support load testing across our client's major e\-commerce channel. In this role, you will play a critical part in the Hybris De\-Risk program, ensuring the platform can scale and perform seamlessly under heavy traffic. You will be responsible for end\-to\-end performance engineering, including ramping up on existing testing suites, writing new load test scripts, executing tests across key web channel flows, analyzing metrics, and translating complex data into actionable insights for our internal teams and stakeholders. **Responsibilities** * Design, maintain, and run comprehensive load and performance tests across multiple areas of the e\-commerce channel to support the Hybris De\-Risk initiative * Quickly analyze and understand existing performance test scripts, refactor them where necessary, and author new high\-quality scripts to expand test coverage * Script and execute end\-to\-end performance testing scenarios centered on core web channel user journeys, checkout pipelines, and catalog browsing experiences * Monitor and evaluate system behavior during test executions using Datadog or similar observability platforms to identify bottlenecks, memory leaks, and thread contention issues * Analyze test results, prepare performance reports, and deliver clear, actionable summaries and presentations to internal customers and technical leadership * Identify gaps in the existing testing process and champion initiatives focused on automation, efficiency, and ongoing performance improvement **Requirements** * At least 3 years of professional relevant experience in performance engineering or load testing * Extensive hands\-on expertise with load testing platforms, specifically CloudTest and BlazeMeter, for designing and running large\-scale tests * Deep understanding of modern web application performance principles, including Core Web Vitals, throughput, concurrency, system resource metrics, and hardware/software saturation limits * Strong proficiency with Datadog or equivalent APM tools for analyzing performance, infrastructure, and application metrics throughout test cycles * Excellent analytical skills, with the ability to interpret raw performance logs and metrics and transform them into polished, user\-friendly reports for non\-technical stakeholders * Proven agility and learning ability, with a track record of quickly mastering unfamiliar scripting frameworks and system architectures * Strong commitment to continuous process improvement and to embedding performance testing within modern software delivery lifecycles * Fluent English communication skills at a B2 level or higher, both written and verbal **Nice to have** * Prior experience with performance optimization specifically on SAP Hybris (SAP Commerce Cloud) platforms * Familiarity with CI/CD integrations for automating performance test execution using tools such as Jenkins or GitLab CI * Knowledge of cloud infrastructure such as AWS or Azure, along with an understanding of microservices architecture **We offer** * International projects with top brands * Work with global teams of highly skilled, diverse peers * Healthcare benefits * Employee financial programs * Paid time off and sick leave * Upskilling, reskilling and certification courses * Unlimited access to the LinkedIn Learning library and 22,000\+ courses * Global career opportunities * Volunteer and community involvement opportunities * EPAM Employee Groups * Award\-winning culture recognized by Glassdoor, Newsweek and LinkedIn *EPAM is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
