We are seeking a junior-level Wintel operating systems administrator to join our Resolution Groups – Operating Systems team. The professional will provide operational support to senior and semi-senior profiles in administering Windows Server virtual machines in a public cloud, participating in monitoring activities, executing operational tasks, and resolving low-complexity incidents. This is an excellent opportunity to develop expertise in Windows system administration within enterprise-scale public cloud environments in the Colombian financial sector. **Key Responsibilities:** * Execute daily operational tasks on Windows Server virtual machines: health checks, event log reviews, and backup verifications. * Monitor Windows instances in public cloud using observability tools (Nagios, Azure Monitor, AWS CloudWatch, GenWizard). * Support resolution of P3/P4 incidents under supervision of senior profiles. * Apply approved configuration changes to Windows Server instances. * Perform basic management of virtual paging space and operating system resources. * Restart instances according to documented procedures. * Record and document operational activities in the ServiceNow Aurora platform. * Participate in knowledge transfer (KT) activities during the mobilization phase. * Support execution of security patches in non-production environments. * Generate platform status reports for the governance team. **Technical Requirements** * 1\-2 years of experience as a Windows Server operating systems administrator or in infrastructure support roles. * Knowledge of Windows Server 2016 or later: basic administration, service management, and event logging. * Introductory knowledge of Active Directory: basic user, group, and computer management. * Basic PowerShell proficiency for operational tasks and diagnostic queries. * Introductory familiarity with Windows instances in public cloud (AWS, Azure, or OCI), or interest in obtaining certification. * Experience with ticketing tools: ServiceNow, Jira, or similar. * Basic technical English for reading documentation. **Competencies and Profile** * Proactive attitude toward learning and continuous technical development. * Attention to detail and discipline in executing operational procedures. * Strong communication skills and willingness to collaborate in teams with senior and semi-senior profiles. * Availability to participate in rotating on\-call duty schedules alongside senior profiles.
