Job Summary: A leading avocado producer is seeking personnel for cold rooms, with forklift operation experience and availability for rotating shifts, performing various operational tasks on the production floor. Participating in the avocado production chain A leading avocado producer requires a candidate for cold rooms to join its team. EDUCATION: High School Diploma, Technical or Technologist Degree TRAINING: Forklift Operation EXPERIENCE: 6 months SCHEDULES: ROTATING DAY AND NIGHT SHIFTS RESPONSIBILITIES: Receiving raw materials to initiate the process. Completing respective forms to ensure process traceability. Packing fruit according to specifications. Performing any task assigned within the various plant processes. Following instructions from the plant manager. Preparing required inputs for the process or cleaning and disinfecting areas, as instructed by the immediate supervisor. Performing tasks such as: receiving, feeding, sorting, assembling packaging materials, packing, labeling, palletizing, cold storage (on pallets). Ensuring proper care of equipment and work materials. Cleaning and disinfecting machinery, equipment, and infrastructure according to the plant’s cleaning and disinfection program. Labeling each box according to the plant manager’s instructions. Packing fruit by caliber into the corresponding box as instructed by the plant manager. Sorting and/or packing following quality department guidelines, meeting export requirements. Maintaining the processing area supplied with packaging materials. Removing and storing domestic fruit in designated areas. Loading and unloading crates, and loading containers based on logistical and/or transportation operational needs. Supporting cold room operations as required by operational needs.
