Work Location: Yarumal, Antioquia Contract Type: Fixed-term contract Salary: To be agreed upon Schedule: Rotating shifts Job Description A prominent company in northern Antioquia requires an Electrical Maintenance Assistant to join its team, supporting the execution of preventive and corrective maintenance activities for equipment and machinery, thereby contributing to the reliability, availability, and safety of organizational assets, in compliance with technical procedures, safety standards, and good manufacturing practices. Requirements Education Level: Technical degree in fields related to electrical, industrial maintenance, or similar disciplines. Experience: Minimum 6 months in roles related to electrical maintenance or similar positions. Functions and Responsibilities Assist electricians in executing preventive and corrective maintenance of machinery and equipment. Support the closure of gaps identified in the Electrical Risk Management Plan (PGRE). Record all activities performed during the workday in the logbook. Support projects involving the incorporation of new machinery and infrastructure. Carry out process-related tasks assigned by the supervisor according to operational needs. Maintain order and cleanliness in work areas. Control and properly use tools from the maintenance workshop. Correctly use personal protective equipment (PPE). Comply with regulations and procedures for high-risk tasks (working at heights, hot work, confined space entry, and hazardous energy control). Adhere to good manufacturing practices (GMP). Inform the supervisor of any health condition prior to performing scheduled tasks. Be aware of risks, controls, and emergency protocols associated with working at heights. Participate in completing and complying with high-risk work permits. Report any deterioration or damage to fall protection systems to the working-at-heights coordinator. Verify the condition, storage, and proper use of assigned PPE.
