Job Summary: A prominent education-sector company is seeking a Facilities Maintenance Assistant to ensure the optimal condition of facilities and equipment. Key Responsibilities: 1. Maintain and repair facilities, equipment, and institutional furniture. 2. Perform plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and painting tasks. 3. Support event logistics and parking organization. A prominent education-sector company requires a Facilities Maintenance Assistant for its team in Medellín, responsible for ensuring the proper condition and functionality of facilities, equipment, and institutional furniture. Responsibilities: - Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on facilities, equipment, and furniture. - Carry out plumbing, electrical, carpentry, locksmithing, and painting tasks, ensuring continuity of basic services. - Install, assemble, and repair furniture and institutional assets. - Promptly report incidents, damages, or losses to the area supervisor. - Manage the use and storage of assigned tools, supplies, and warehouse. - Comply with Occupational Safety and Health (OSH) regulations and personal protective equipment requirements. - Support event logistics (setup, dismantling, transportation, and organization of equipment and furniture). - Assist in parking organization, ensuring safe vehicle and pedestrian traffic flow. - Participate in cleaning, recycling, waste management, and general space maintenance activities. - Maintain order and cleanliness in the work area. - Repair equipment when possessing the required technical knowledge and with prior supervisor authorization. - Share technical knowledge with the team to strengthen operational processes. Requirements: - Education level: High school diploma, Technical, or Technologist degree. - Experience: Minimum 24 months in facilities maintenance or related fields.
