We are looking for a Senior Backend and Data Engineer with a product mindset and structural vision to lead the development of a complex B2B platform, designed to scale in an orderly manner nationally and internationally. This role is not about constant experimentation or ad-hoc solutions. We seek someone who enjoys designing well-thought-out, documented, and sustainable systems, with strong technical judgment and an understanding of software’s impact on the business. 5–10 years of experience developing backend systems in production environments. • Solid knowledge of APIs, services, and data processing workflows. • Experience working with relational databases and structured data. • Familiarity with infrastructure tools such as Git, CI/CD, and cloud environments. • Ability to implement designs created by a lead engineer or architect. • Excellent written communication and documentation skills. • Experience implementing systems related to payments, financial transaction workflows, or integrations with payment providers (national or international) is highly valued. • Knowledge of transaction integrity, reconciliation processes, and handling financial data in backend systems is highly valued. Experience with automation tools, data pipelines, web scraping systems, or operational software is valued. Languages and tools may include Python, Node.js, Go, PostgreSQL, and cloud platforms; however, the ability to design and implement reliable systems is more important than any specific technology stack.
