Location: Aguadas, Caldas Salary: $2,809,000 to 3,505,000 + Benefits + Statutory Benefits Sector: Construction Work Mode: On-site Job Description A company specializing in civil non-residential engineering projects seeks to incorporate a Construction Inspector with experience in supervising and monitoring construction projects. The incumbent will be responsible for verifying the correct execution of on-site activities, ensuring compliance with drawings, technical specifications, quality standards, safety regulations, and project timelines. Main Responsibilities Conduct inspection and monitoring of on-site activities. Verify compliance with drawings, technical specifications, and established schedules. Supervise contractors and operational staff regarding proper execution of works. Report progress, incidents, and inconsistencies identified during project execution. Ensure compliance with quality standards and industrial safety regulations. Support the control of materials, equipment, and on-site activities. Prepare construction monitoring and control reports. Requirements Bachelor's degree or technological diploma in Civil Engineering, Construction, or related fields. Minimum 2 years of experience in inspection and monitoring of non-residential construction projects (e.g., hospitals, schools, shopping centers, industrial warehouses). Knowledge of drawing interpretation, technical specifications, and construction processes. Familiarity with technical standards, building codes, and on-site safety regulations. Basic proficiency in computer tools and supporting software such as AutoCAD and MS Project. Ability to conduct field monitoring, control, and verification of activities.
