Production Engineer - Civil Engineer will manage contracts, review drawings, control inventories, and coordinate resources in construction projects.

PRODUCTION ENGINEER - CIVIL ENGINEER.
Education: Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering
Experience: Not required.
Knowledge: Not required.
Salary: Base salary of $2,500,000 plus $500,000 variable salary (subject to goal achievement).
Contract type: Fixed-term contract for 6 months (renewable).
Office hours, Monday to Friday.
Work location: Bogotá D.C.,
• Manage assigned contracts according to the organization’s instructions, procedures, and established processes.
• Drawing review and quantity calculation.
• Review of the contract and commercial offer for the assigned project.
• Processing and review of insurance policies according to the contract.
• Request cost center opening for expense tracking and control.
• Open both physical and digital folders according to the established template.
• Compare quantities with the Topsheet provided by the commercial department.
• Keep inventory control updated.
• Schedule necessary resources and services for each of your projects.
• Prepare weekly resource and activity schedules for each assigned project.
• Process duct manufacturing orders according to the schedule of each of your projects.
• Process purchase requisitions required for executing assigned projects.
• Maintain constant and assertive communication with workers assigned to your projects.
• Submit monthly project execution reports for projects under your responsibility.
• Submit monthly billing projections.
• Manage delivery of technical and contractual documents to the client.
• Disseminate quality procedures and formats established in the management system.
• Train tensioners according to the established training plan.
• Report any non-conformity or formal complaint arising from any of your projects to the Department Director.
• Prepare, review, and analyze tensioning and grouting worksheets for each assigned project.
• Control working hours and labor shifts for personnel assigned to your projects.
• Support the Department Director in controlling activities executed per schedule, optimizing time and resources.
• Verify that scheduled activities are being carried out in accordance with drawings and technical specifications.
• Process monthly minutes for each of your projects, according to the specific conditions of each contract under your responsibility.
• Draft invoices for each assigned project.
• Conduct monthly collections for invoices processed the previous month, as well as overdue receivables.
• Monitor project execution timelines and ensure insurance policies remain valid throughout the contractual period.
• Manage contract amendments for your projects, including increased quantities and/or extended deadlines.
• Track progress of each project under your responsibility.
• Support preparation of quality reports, management reports, tensioning reports, and final reports.
• Maintain continuous contact with the client for activity coordination.
• Conduct periodic site visits for monitoring and control.
• Verify compliance with established parameters for tensioning and grouting processes.
• Enforce company, client, and other stakeholders’ established safety standards.
• Notify the Quality Officer upon deviations from specifications, drawings, product requirements, etc.
• Communicate environmental risks and impacts and ensure implementation of controls.
• Enforce company, client, and other stakeholders’ established safety standards.
• Manage closure and settlement of each completed project under your responsibility.
• Process retention money refunds, if applicable, for each settled assigned project.
