A reputable company in the sector requires a PROJECT MANAGER - OPERATIONS to work in Yumbo. This position is responsible for planning, coordinating, and supervising the execution of operational projects within the company, ensuring achievement of established objectives regarding quality, timelines, and costs. This role serves as the primary liaison among various departments involved in projects, facilitating communication and information flow to ensure proper implementation of operational initiatives.
Responsibilities and Tasks:
- Plan and organize operational projects, defining schedules, resources, and budgets.
- Coordinate and lead multidisciplinary project teams throughout all project stages.
- Monitor and control project progress, identifying deviations and proposing corrective actions.
- Manage communication among involved departments and report project status to management.
- Identify and manage risks associated with project execution.
- Ensure compliance with the company's established quality and safety standards.
- Prepare and maintain project-related documentation.
- Propose and implement improvements in operational processes based on lessons learned from each project.
- Educational Requirement: Professional degree in Industrial Engineering, Business Administration, Logistics, or related fields.
- Knowledge and Skills: Advanced proficiency in project management tools, agile methodologies, data analysis, optimization of operational processes, ADVANCED EXCEL
- Experience: Minimum 3 years in construction/infrastructure companies or metal-mechanical sector companies, performing full supervision, coordination, and execution of projects.
- Competencies: Leadership, teamwork, effective communication, results orientation, analytical thinking, and change management capability.
- Special Requirements: Willingness to travel as required by project needs and ability to manage multidisciplinary teams in dynamic environments.
WORK SCHEDULE: MONDAY TO FRIDAY (WEEKEND AVAILABILITY IF REQUIRED)
SALARY: COP 4,500,000 TO 5,000,000 (DEPENDING ON EXPERIENCE AND KNOWLEDGE)
CONTRACT TYPE: INDEFINITE TERM.
