We are looking for someone who joins our **\#RumboSacyr** initiative and helps us continue improving people's lives. **About the Position** One vacancy is offered for a Workshop Vehicle Mechanic to join the maintenance team, responsible for identifying, monitoring, and timely reporting on the maintenance and operational status of the project; providing mechanical assistance to road users requiring it; and responding to any incidents or emergencies that may arise—identifying and requesting necessary human and material resources to guarantee a road corridor that is operational, clean, safe, orderly, and comfortable for all road users, within contractual obligations. **Functional and Contextual Aspects of the Position:** * Provide basic free mechanical roadside assistance to vehicles traveling along the road corridor and requiring such support, complying with response and clearance times specified in the concession agreement * Implement, develop, and verify the Project Maintenance Tasks (PMT) * Complete, accurately and promptly, all assigned digital and/or physical forms, without erasures or corrections * Maintain assigned equipment, supplies, vehicle, and other assigned items in perfect cleanliness and operational condition * Ensure the safety and integrity of users, pedestrians, workers, work teams, and works themselves * Remove obstacles from the roadway that may impair visibility or pose a risk to road users, or request required support to carry out such removal * Consistently implement established PMTs for responding to any type of incident or emergency, minimizing impact on project users * Lead the response to any type of incident or emergency occurring within the project * Monitor, report, and notify any illegal occupation within the right-of-way * Inspect and take necessary actions to maintain good condition of signage, containment elements, pavement, drainage structures, and generally all integral components of the project * Maintain continuous communication with the Operations Control Center, reporting and supplying necessary information for timely incident and emergency response * Immediately report road conditions based on conducted inspection routes **Requirements and Competencies:** * High school diploma and/or Technical degree in Automotive Mechanics, Industrial Mechanics, or related technical field, or equivalent demonstrable experience * Driver’s license category B1/C1 * Minimum 2 years’ experience in maintenance of light vehicles, SUVs, or light machinery in workshops or field operations * Knowledge of vehicle injection systems, brakes, suspension, transmission, electrical systems, and basic electronics * Proficiency in using diagnostic tools, multimeter, OBD scanner, and manual/workshop tools * Ability to perform preventive, corrective maintenance, and repairs with focus on quality and safety * Organizational skills, proactivity, results orientation, and commitment to occupational safety **Functions and Responsibilities:** * Perform mechanical and electrical diagnostics on vehicles and light machinery, identifying root causes and proposing solutions * Carry out scheduled preventive and corrective maintenance, ensuring traceability and adherence to quality standards * Repair and replace components (brakes, suspension, clutch, transmissions, electrical systems) according to procedures * Record interventions in the system and keep updated intervention logs, maintenance history, and spare parts used * Coordinate spare parts management and procurement with warehouse and suppliers, controlling stock levels and delivery timelines * Support implementation of technical improvements and workshop procedures aimed at efficiency and safety * Ensure compliance with safety regulations and correct use of personal protective equipment (PPE) during all interventions * Participate in technical and coordination meetings, reporting vehicle status and maintenance needs **What We Offer:** * Continuous training programs and opportunities for professional development and internal mobility * A collaborative work environment based on collective intelligence, excellence, and social responsibility At Sacyr, we value diversity and inclusion.
