Commitment to continuous professional development Wood is seeking a Project Controls Specialist to join its Projects business unit, focusing on the Oil, Gas and New Energies (OGNE) area. This opportunity is onsite. **The Role** Wood Colombia is seeking an engineering, administration or related field professional with 10+ years of specific experience in engineering projects within the Oil & Gas sector to serve as a **Project Controls Specialist**. Transforming the world.** Wood’s Oil, Gas and New Energies business is built upon a strong track record of delivering large, complex projects for national and international energy companies worldwide. **What We Offer** * Significant and interesting projects delivered to industry leaders in the Oil & Gas sector. * Flexible work arrangements that balance the needs of the client, team, and individual. * Commitment to diversity and inclusion across our entire organization, supported by employee networks dedicated to giving voice to all employees. * Flexible benefits package adaptable to your lifestyle. * Commitment to continuous professional development through customized development plans. * Global connections with industry-leading experts. * Prepare, develop, and monitor the schedule in Primavera * Prepare and present reports to internal and external clients * Monitor and track time, hours, and costs * Fully comply at all times with Company corporate and local policies and align with our Corporate Values. * Prepare the project schedule based on the proposal, contract, and execution strategy. * Validate it with the Project Manager, Engineering Coordinator, and Discipline Leads (CD). * Prepare the project budget, financial plans, and billing plans in coordination with Finance. * Verify the project deliverables list with the Project Manager. * Set up the project in HOLA for man-hour reporting and control, and for project team access. * Prepare templates to be used on the project per the contract and client requirements, such as periodic reports, KPIs, etc. * Analyze project status and progress in terms of planning, costs, risks, and KPIs. * Maintain constant communication with the Project Manager to report any schedule risk or deviation and propose contingency plans. * Plan short-term activities within the project (bi-weekly plan). * Stakeholder organization and communication **What Makes You Extraordinary?** * At Wood, we are committed to equal opportunity and welcome all talented individuals to consider joining our team.
