Support the chef and kitchen team in food preparation, setup, and presentation, ensuring high standards of quality, hygiene, flavor, and presentation, contributing to the smooth operation and prestige of the gastronomic area. Main Responsibilities: Perform mise en place (setup) of required ingredients and utensils for service. Prepare and process food under the supervision of the chef or head cook. Ensure proper food handling in accordance with hygiene and food safety standards (GMP). Collaborate in dish decoration, plating, and presentation according to established standards. Maintain the work area, utensils, and equipment in optimal cleanliness and order. Monitor inventory of basic supplies and report requirements or shortages. Organize food items in appropriate locations, track stock levels, manage order control, and inform immediate supervisor. Maintain food organization and store items in correct locations—warehouse, refrigerator, or freezer. Label and store all ingredients on shelves to ensure organization and easy access. Respond promptly to requests from immediate supervisor and other superiors.
