The role is responsible for ensuring the efficiency of storage, dispatch, distribution, and inventory control processes, maintaining high customer service standards, productivity, and profitability. Key Responsibilities Plan, coordinate, and supervise daily warehouse and distribution operations. Design and optimize transportation routes to ensure timely and efficient regional deliveries. Coordinate and supervise loading, unloading, storage, and dispatch of goods. Control and ensure accuracy of physical and system-based inventories. Conduct logistics cost analysis and route profitability assessment. Manage scheduling and tracking of company-owned vehicles. Lead, train, and evaluate the performance of operational staff under supervision. Respond to internal and external customer requests, providing timely and effective solutions. Verify correct receipt of goods, documentation, and compliance with specifications. Academic Qualifications Technologist or Professional degree in Logistics, Business Administration, Industrial Engineering, Logistics Engineering, or related fields. Experience Minimum 2 years of experience leading warehouse, transportation, and distribution operations. Proven experience managing operational personnel. Knowledge of inventory administration and storage processes. Experience in freight negotiation and transportation coordination. Technical Knowledge Distribution route planning and optimization. Freight costing and analysis. Management of logistics key performance indicators (KPIs). Inventory control and warehouse management. Proficiency in office tools, especially intermediate or advanced Excel. ERP systems or logistics management software proficiency is desirable. Competencies Leadership and team development.
