Key Responsibilities: 1. Comprehensive management of information and tracking of production batches. 2. Coordination of production orders and dispensing processes. 3. Support in contract manufacturing logistics and management of internal requests. A pharmaceutical laboratory is seeking a PRODUCTION ASSISTANT — high school graduate, technician, or technologist — with experience in the pharmaceutical industry. Key responsibilities include: Create, register, and manage requested batch control information to enable tracking of both internally produced and customer-owned batches. This information includes: batch assignment, order number, sanitary registration, shelf life, ownership, quantity to be produced, and quantity produced, among others. Review with the Production Director the need for weekly issuance of production orders: establish priorities, generate manufacturing, packaging, and labeling production orders, register sanitary registration and shelf life information, and prepare the Manila envelope. Coordinate with involved departments the approval of issued orders, ensure attachment of the corresponding protocol and dispensing labels, and deliver the technical package at this stage to the Warehouse department to initiate the dispensing process. Register and deliver product technical packages — after review by the Production Manager — to the Technical and Quality Management department for final review and release. For products manufactured under contract for customers or third parties, request from the Purchasing department the costs of materials not supplied by the third party or customer, and from Quality Control the costs of analyses performed on products, raw materials, and/or materials, to prepare the “Third-Party Billing Report” for contract manufacturing billing. Prepare delivery dispatch notes for customer-owned products and inform the Customer Service department of the availability of finished products for delivery to the third party. Support logistics for company products manufactured under contract by suppliers or contract manufacturers: draft letters requesting contract manufacturing capacity, send emails, prepare material dispatch notes, and internally request transportation for material delivery and finished product pickup. Manage internal procurement request processes for needs across Production departments: prepare documentation, collect approval and delivery signatures, file documents, and track actual procurement. Support data collection and preparation of monthly indicators and reports: preventive and corrective equipment maintenance indicator, report to Accounting, labor hours and finished product units produced report, among others.
