Job Summary: We are seeking a Logistics Assistant for a cargo transportation company, with experience in logistics and responsibilities related to vehicle routing and monitoring. Key Highlights: 1. Key responsibilities including vehicle routing and monitoring A road cargo transportation company located in Medellín / Copacabana is seeking a Logistics Technician or Technologist, or an Administrative professional, for the position of Logistics Assistant, requiring a minimum of 1 year of relevant experience in cargo transportation and port operations, proficiency in Excel, driver management, assertive communication skills, and preferably familiarity with SYSTRAM. Main Responsibilities: 1\. Route company-owned and third-party vehicles according to customer requests. 2\. Generate manifests or MTU (Unique Transport Movement) documents in the company's operating system, based on the nature and destination of each trip. 3\. Register third-party vehicles and drivers in SYSTRAM. 4\. Conduct daily monitoring and tracking of deliveries and loaded vehicles en route, according to the assigned distribution for each transport, using GPS to determine their location and service status (both company-owned and third-party). 5\. Generate service requests in SYSTRAM. Port experience is preferred.
