We are seeking a Kitchen Leader with leadership and management skills to oversee and supervise the daily kitchen operations of a traditional Antioquian cuisine restaurant, ensuring smooth process execution.

**PROFILE**
We seek a Kitchen Leader to oversee and supervise the daily kitchen operations of a traditional Antioquian cuisine restaurant. The ideal candidate must possess strong leadership and management skills to ensure smooth kitchen process execution.
**Responsibilities**
* Order supplies, ingredients, and materials based on kitchen demands, needs, and shortages.
* Conduct periodic inventory assessments and track inventory quantities for storage.
* Organize food orders and supervise kitchen staff.
* Supervise food preparation and cooking processes.
* Manage and schedule staff work shifts.
* Maintain daily, weekly, and monthly cost reports.
* Store food products in compliance with safety and hygiene standards.
* Train kitchen staff for each station.
* Ensure the kitchen remains organized and clean at all times.
* Report payroll updates such as LNR, LR, overtime, justified or unjustified absences.
***DECISION-MAKING AND AUTONOMY***
* **Procurement Management:** Can decide which ingredients to purchase and in what quantities, based on expertise and menu demand.
* **Menu Management:** Has autonomy to propose menu changes, create new dishes, or adapt existing recipes developed by employed staff; may propose modifications or additions to the menu to the Executive Chef based on business needs and customer preferences.
* **Team Management:** Can assign tasks, supervise staff performance, train, and motivate staff to achieve high performance.
* **Production Management:** Is responsible for ensuring efficient kitchen operation, adherence to quality standards, and timely order fulfillment.
* **Critical Decision-Making:** Has authority to make decisions affecting the kitchen, such as implementing new procedures or managing crises.
**Requirements**
* Degree in Gastronomy or related field
* Over 3 years of experience in a similar position
* Knowledge of kitchen safety and regulatory standards
* Ability to work in a fast-paced and stressful environment
* Strong organizational and time-management skills
* Problem-solving ability
* Leadership and teamwork capabilities
* Knowledge of traditional Antioquian cuisine, baking, and pastry
