Support in classification and accounting registration Profile Description and Purpose We seek a motivated and committed student to join the **Administrative Area of TECHO Colombia** under the modality of **unpaid professional practice**. The purpose of this position is to provide comprehensive operational support to the accounting and logistics departments, actively participating in ensuring accuracy of records, bank reconciliations, and timely treasury support. Additionally, the intern will support the logistics component by coordinating the physical flow of supplies to ensure fulfillment of procurement requests. Important Note: This position is structured exclusively as an unpaid professional training practice, designed as a practical learning space for professional growth and high social impact within the nonprofit organizational sector. Main Responsibilities and Functions (Operational Support) * **Accounting Registration:** Support timely classification and registration of institutional income, expenses (invoices, expense reports, supplier payments), and payroll updates in the accounting system (NetSuite). * **Reconciliations and Closings:** Assist in the bank reconciliation process and monthly accounting closing, verifying balances against bank statements. * **Treasury Controls:** Update cash inflow and outflow tracking files for departmental analysis, maintaining up-to-date internal financial controls (donations, expense reports, etc.). * **Documentary and Tax Management:** Assist in preparing supporting documents required by the Colombian Tax Authority (DIAN) (e.g., RUT, electronic payroll, reports) and issuing donation certificates. * **Logistics Support:** Collaborate with the team to manage the end-to-end procurement cycle, including purchasing supplies, physically collecting goods, and packaging to ensure on-time deliveries. Requirements and Competencies * **Education:** Technical, technological, or university-level student (minimum from 3rd semester) in Public Accounting or related administrative fields. * **Tools:** Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Excel. Basic knowledge or familiarity with accounting systems such as NetSuite is desirable (but not mandatory). * **Soft Skills:** Attention to detail, organized rigor, excellent assertive communication, and strong orientation toward teamwork and collaboration.
