We are looking for a junior Oracle database administrator to join the Resolution Groups – Database team. The professional will provide operational support to more experienced profiles managing Oracle Database Cloud Service instances on OCI, participating in monitoring activities, executing operational tasks, and resolving low-complexity incidents. This is an excellent opportunity to develop expertise in Oracle Cloud Infrastructure within a large-scale project for the Colombian financial sector. **Key Responsibilities** * Execute daily operational tasks: health checks, cleanup of log and trace files, and backup verification. * Monitor Oracle Database instances on OCI using observability tools (Nagios, OEM, GenWizard). * Support resolution of P3/P4 incidents under supervision of senior profiles. * Apply approved configuration changes to database instances. * Perform basic management of tablespaces and disk space. * Restart instances according to documented procedures. * Record and document operational activities in the ServiceNow Aurora platform. * Participate in knowledge transfer (KT) activities during the mobilization phase. * Support execution of security patches in non-production environments. * Generate platform status reports for the governance team. **Technical Requirements** * 1–2 years of experience as an Oracle administrator or in database support roles. * Knowledge of Oracle Database 12c or later (instance, tablespace, redo logs). * Basic knowledge of RMAN for backup verification. * Proficiency in SQL and PL/SQL for diagnostic queries. * Introductory familiarity with Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI), or interest in obtaining certification. * Experience with ticketing tools (ServiceNow, Jira, or similar). * Basic technical English for reading documentation. **Competencies and Profile** * Proactive attitude toward learning and continuous technical development. * Attention to detail and discipline in executing operational procedures. * Strong communication skills and willingness to collaborate in teams with senior profiles. * Availability to participate in rotating on-call duty schedules alongside senior profiles.
