Job Summary: OLT TRANSPORTES SAS is seeking a Traffic Controller to perform traffic control, monitor vehicles via GPS, keep management and customers informed, and ensure reporting compliance. Key Responsibilities: 1. Traffic control and satellite vehicle monitoring. 2. Constant communication with management, shippers, and customers. 3. Ensure cargo traceability and compliance with reporting requirements. OLT TRANSPORTES SAS, a nationwide transportation company, is currently seeking a TRAFFIC CONTROLLER. Main responsibilities include: Executing traffic control for vehicles and reporting anomalies such as returns, breakdowns, shortages, or other incidents; verifying that the GPS satellite system is operating correctly and performing multiple panic button tests, recording them on the checklist; keeping the company website and the "Sígueme" tracking program updated with relevant notes; informing the Safety Coordinator, shippers, and, if necessary, General Management about vehicle locations and incidents via phone calls and emails; ensuring excellent traceability for all shipments to build customer trust; confirming with loading sites that vehicles are fully loaded, inspected, and secured with all required security seals, and similarly verifying unloading site conditions; preparing required reports as requested by the company; ensuring that both in-house and subcontracted drivers comply with mandatory reporting requirements at each control point, and guaranteeing that such reports are submitted telephonically at specified frequencies and time intervals; maintaining up-to-date contact numbers for drivers en route, and contacting vehicle owners or co-drivers if direct communication fails; exercising discretion regarding all types of goods handled; monitoring all vehicles equipped with functional and up-to-date satellite systems.
