Production Operator

Job Summary: The production operator will support manufacturing activities by performing operational tasks related to product fabrication, adhering to safety and quality standards and guidelines. Key Highlights: 1. Collaborates in manufacturing and product fabrication activities. 2. Receives training in operating machinery for production processes. 3. Ensures compliance with safety and quality standards. In this role, the production operator will be responsible for supporting manufacturing activities by performing operational product fabrication tasks, following manufacturing standards and complying with safety, quality, productivity, service, and best practice guidelines. **Responsibilities** * Collaborates in weighing ingredients to meet recipe specifications and ensures correct ingredients are delivered to the work area. * Receives training in machinery operations for mixing, extruding/discharging, or handling materials according to standard operating procedures. * Inspects materials visually or physically to ensure conformity with established standards. * Performs all required machine cleaning. * Follows and complies with all safety and workplace regulations. * Maintains departmental cleanliness standards. * Receives and hands over shifts clearly, reporting the status of assigned processes. * Performs all required machine cleaning. **Physical Demands** While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand; walk; bend; use hands to touch, handle objects, tools, or controls; speak and/or hear. Sitting is occasionally required. The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 55 pounds. Use of personal protective equipment (PPE) as mandated by the work area is required, such as safety glasses and shoes, dust masks, hard hats, respirators, face shields, hearing protection, chemical suits, gloves, aprons, etc. Noise levels in the work environment are typically moderate, except in high-noise areas. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently exposed to fumes.
