One of our business lines focuses on intelligent measurement of energy consumption and generation, seamlessly integrating all such data into our proprietary application and platform, and adding further value through analysis and processing. **Position:** Resident Engineer **Location:** Valledupar, Cesar **Contract Type:** Indefinite-term **Work Modality:** On-site **Position Objective:** At Solenium, we are seeking a Commissioning Engineer responsible for supporting and ensuring the correct execution of energization and commissioning activities for solar projects—from the final construction phase through handover to O\&M. **Responsibilities:** * Execute and support energization processes before the Grid Operator. * Conduct commissioning tests (cold and hot) and validate proper functionality. * Identify, report, and track field faults or pending items. * Verify compliance with design specifications, regulations (RETIE), and handover conditions for O\&M. **Mandatory Requirements:** * Degree in Electrical Engineering, Electromechanical Engineering, or related fields * Minimum 1 year of experience in energization and/or commissioning of electrical projects * Knowledge of RETIE regulations and procedures with Grid Operators * Availability for fieldwork and nationwide travel **Desirable Requirements:** * Experience in photovoltaic solar energy projects * Knowledge of electrical testing and measurement equipment (e.g., megger, thermography) * Proficiency with tracking and reporting tools (Excel, technical reports) * Experience coordinating field activities with multidisciplinary teams **Why Join Us?** * You will work with a diverse, young, and impact-driven team committed to making a meaningful difference in the world. * You will help define the future of our technology by proposing bold and creative ideas—ideas that we’ll evaluate and implement together as a team. * You will have the opportunity to grow professionally within a company rapidly evolving in this highly innovative market. * You will contribute to delivering clean energy and energy efficiency to everyone.
