Job Summary: We are seeking a professional to ensure comprehensive accounting management and accuracy, transparency, and timeliness in financial recording and reporting in Colombia, Peru, and Chile. Customer Managed POD (Staff Augmentation): The client integrates specialized BPT talent into their team and assumes responsibility for its management, aligned with each business’s specific needs. Support and Maintenance POD: BPT provides a dedicated team with fixed capacity to address incidents, events, and minor enhancements, based on estimated capacity and incident/event management. JOB MISSION: Ensure comprehensive accounting management for BPT, guaranteeing accuracy, transparency, and timeliness in financial information recording and reporting in accordance with accounting principles and current regulations in Colombia, Peru, and Chile — enabling strategic decision-making and fulfillment of all legal and tax obligations of the organization. RESPONSIBILITIES AND FUNCTIONS: \- Accounting and Financial Management \- Lead and supervise the full accounting cycle: accruals, reconciliations, monthly and annual closings. \- Ensure proper preparation, analysis, and presentation of financial statements under IFRS. \- Ensure compliance with accounting, tax, and legal regulations in operational countries (Colombia, Peru, and Chile). \- Supervise and control tax processes: tax returns, magnetic media submissions, and obligations before regulatory authorities. \- Manage fixed assets, depreciation, amortization, and provisions. \- Lead financial planning, budget preparation, and forecasting. \- Implement and monitor accounting area KPIs. \- Ensure internal controls and proper administration of financial resources. \- Implement and optimize processes to improve the department’s operational efficiency. \- Manage and supervise the company’s accounting tools and systems (Siesa / Siigo). \- Lead, mentor, and develop the assigned accounting team. \- Establish work schedules, assign responsibilities, and monitor performance. \- Promote a culture of compliance, order, and continuous improvement within the department. \- Coordinate and align processes with other organizational areas. \- Support strategic decision-making through timely financial analysis. \- Respond to external audit requests, fiscal review, and regulatory bodies. \- Ensure adherence to BPT’s internal policies and organizational guidelines. **Requirements** \- Degree in Public Accounting with an active professional license — active registration with the Central Board of Accountants (MANDATORY). \- Specialization in Tax Legislation, Finance, or related fields (MANDATORY). \- Master’s degree in Tax Legislation or International Accounting (DESIRABLE). \- Certification or diploma in IFRS/NIIF (MANDATORY). \- Minimum 5 years in accounting and administrative leadership roles. \- Proven experience leading accounting teams. \- Proficiency in Siesa or Siigo accounting software (MANDATORY). \- Knowledge and application of Colombian, Peruvian, and Chilean tax regulations. \- Experience in international operations and control of transactions in foreign markets. \- Experience in technology or services sectors (DESIRABLE). \- Mastery of IFRS/NIIF — regulations applicable in Colombia, Peru, and Chile. \- Tax management: RST, VAT, Income Tax, ICA, Withholding Tax, DIAN, SUNAT, SII. \- Preparation of financial statements: balance sheet, income statement, cash flow statement, break-even analysis, value-added analysis, and expense comparisons. \- Preparation of projected cash flows, budgets, and financial analysis for strategic decision-making. \- Payroll management, social security (EPS, ARP, parafiscal contributions), and electronic invoicing. \- Petty cash audits and administrative process controls. \- Proficiency in Siesa and/or Siigo, Advanced Excel, and Power BI. \- Implementation of accounting strategies for cost optimization and regulatory compliance. \- Empathetic leadership: guiding, motivating, and developing goal-oriented teams. \- Attention to detail: precision and rigor in accounting records and analysis. \- Assertive communication: effective interaction across departments and hierarchical levels. \- Adaptability: managing multiple priorities in dynamic environments. \- Results orientation: focus on quality, timeliness, and objective achievement. \- Analytical thinking: translating complex financial information into strategic decisions. \- Professional ethics: handling financial information with integrity and confidentiality. Salary: **six million Colombian pesos ($6\.000\.000\)** plus all statutory benefits \+ internal benefits Work modality is **hybrid**, so it is essential that you reside in Medellín or nearby municipalities.
