Are you ready to join this exciting journey with us and help us achieve our mission? **Job Description** * Assume technical responsibility for the NYCE Colombia S.A.S. laboratory, ensuring services are delivered impartially and objectively. * Coordinate and supervise testing and calibration services based on strict compliance with applicable regulations. * Support the development of training course content related to the scope of management and deliver corresponding training. * Coordinate quotation preparation, invoicing, and collections. * Participate in establishing agreements, alliances, and/or contracts as required. * Stay updated and ensure appropriate communication of national and international regulatory documents and criteria. * Participate in all processes required by clients, providing support to the commercial department. * Monitor and track services, action plans, and commitments with clients or improvement activities. * Select, and where applicable, qualify and authorize activities performed by personnel under supervision. * Verify and ensure, in coordination with relevant organizational departments, compliance with requirements for obtaining and maintaining accreditation from accreditation bodies. * Lead the establishment of agreements, alliances, and contracts within the scope of control. * Supervise information analysis activities, decision-making, and issuance of laboratory reports. * Where applicable, supervise and authorize the issuance of test reports. * Support promotion of laboratory services by attending to current and potential clients and participating in events and exhibitions. * Provide training to subordinates and staff from other departments regarding laboratory processes. * Coordinate proper preparation and signing of service contracts with clients. * Identify and analyze business opportunities to expand the service portfolio of areas under supervision. * Ensure operational processes are conducted in accordance with applicable laws, procedures, and any other relevant documents. * Monitor the laboratory to ensure compliance with applicable service policies and procedures. * Support internal quality audits and establish appropriate measures to agree upon and follow up on action plans jointly with the Quality Department, addressing improvement, preventive, corrective, and corrective actions. * Authority to identify deviations from the management system or from procedures governing laboratory activities. * Report to the laboratory’s General Management on process performance and any improvement needs for the laboratory. * Ensure the laboratory’s physical infrastructure is maintained, including appropriate calibration and maintenance where applicable. * Plan and ensure necessary training for laboratory personnel to guarantee their technical competence. * Ensure the NYCE website is kept up-to-date regarding laboratory services. * Safeguard NYCE’s institutional image among employees, clients, and institutions. * Participate in the company’s strategic process, primarily in setting objectives for the department. * Agree with the immediate supervisor on tactical objectives for the department, communicate them appropriately, and set annual objectives for personnel under supervision. * Collaborate on budgeting and administration of expenses related to departmental operations. * Implement, monitor, and report performance indicators within the scope of control, identifying improvement opportunities. * Adapt to, and help the team adapt to, changes and adjustments arising from the company’s realities and its environment. * Manage all resources under responsibility to ensure effective and efficient delivery of departmental services. * Ensure performance evaluations of personnel under supervision are conducted following Human Capital Department guidelines. * Remain open and proactive toward innovation and adoption of best practices. * Identify nonconforming testing work. * Investigate causes of nonconforming work and complaints, managing necessary corrections or corrective actions to eliminate the identified issue. * Ensure communication regarding the effectiveness of the laboratory’s management system and the importance of meeting customer and other applicable requirements. * Ensure maintenance of the laboratory’s management system’s integrity when planning and implementing changes to it. * Ensure effectiveness of laboratory activities. * Authority to identify deviations from the management system or from procedures governing LENC laboratory testing activities. * Authority to initiate actions aimed at preventing or minimizing deviations. * Authority to implement, maintain, and improve the LENC laboratory management system. **Requirements** * Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, or related fields; specialization in projects, quality management, or materials engineering is desirable. * 2–5 years of verifiable experience leading laboratories and teams in the electrical sector; ISO/IEC 17025 certification;
