Ebroservicios is strengthening its Data Analysis Department by hiring an Energy Engineer who combines technical knowledge of the electricity sector with advanced analytical skills. This position provides direct support to Ebroenergía’s commercial and back-office operations in the European energy market, working with real-world data on consumption, contracting, and supply. This is not a support role nor one involving routine information extraction. It is a position offering technical autonomy, direct contact with management, and participation in commercial intelligence projects that influence the supplier’s strategic decisions. · Key Responsibilities Quantitative analysis of energy savings (electricity and gas) for the active customer portfolio. Optimization of contracted power and review of tariff structures. Preparation of monthly supply monitoring reports and analytical reports for commercial and back-office departments. Support in commercial intelligence and competitive market analysis projects. Participation in the development and maintenance of analytical and automation tools for the department. Interpretation of contractual and consumption data sourced from the corporate ERP system. Requirements Education: Bachelor’s degree in Energy Engineering, Energy Systems Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related disciplines, with demonstrable experience in the energy sector. Experience: 2–4 years in roles related to technical-economic analysis in the energy sector, electricity regulation, energy efficiency, or energy trading. Technical Knowledge Solid understanding of the European energy market: tariff structures, regulation, contracting mechanisms, and market trading dynamics. Advanced Excel proficiency for data modeling and analysis. Quantitative analytical capability applied to real-world energy problems. Ability to read and interpret bills, supply contracts, and consumption curves. Personal Competencies Technical rigor and attention to detail. Autonomy to conduct end-to-end analyses. Clear communication with both technical and commercial stakeholders. Results orientation and continuous process improvement. Preferred Qualifications Prior experience in the Spanish energy market. Knowledge of Python or other data analysis and automation tools. Familiarity with commercial management platforms (CRM, Monday.com, or equivalents).
