




Job Summary: A laboratory in Bogotá is seeking a Junior Physicochemical Analyst to verify equipment, prepare chemical solutions, and maintain quality assurance. Key Responsibilities: 1. Verification and maintenance of laboratory equipment. 2. Preparation and standardization of chemical solutions. 3. Quality control and reagent inventory management. A well-recognized laboratory located in Bogotá requires a Junior Physicochemical Analyst with a minimum of one year of experience for its team. Responsibilities: *Perform equipment verification and keep control charts up to date. *Prepare and standardize chemical solutions according to established procedures, under supervision. *Comply with the established quality assurance program. *Maintain updated records related to performed analyses. *Report quality controls defined in the quality assurance program. *Manage daily reagent and product inventory. *Record analysis results in Sigeslab. *Prepare, label, and standardize reagents according to internal procedures. *Prepare required laboratory materials for tests to streamline and optimize the analysis process. *Report results on primary data sheets. *Conduct proficiency testing (inter-laboratory and intra-laboratory). *Carry out other duties assigned by the immediate supervisor, commensurate with the position level and nature. Requirements: *Degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, or Chemistry Applied to the Food Industry. *Knowledge of ISO 17025 standard and physicochemical analysis applied to the food industry, HPLC. *Handling of chemical substances and preparation of solutions.
